Personalise your tax return
APARI’s digital tax return product supports the vast majority of taxpayers’ scenarios. To keep things simple, you can tailor your tax return so that you only see sections that are relevant to you. Your tax calculation and return will only include information from the sections that are selected.
Before showing how this works, please note that there are some complicated areas of tax that we do not support. This includes: Partnerships and Partners; Foreign Income; Trusts and Estates; and Residence, remittance basis etc.
on your FIrst Login
When you login for the first time, our onboarding wizard will prompt you to choose the relevant sections of the tax return. The info icons on each tile give a description of what’s included in each section.
changing your selection
When you’re in the software, you can edit this choice at any time. Simply navigate to the ‘Tax Submission’ area and look for the settings cog icon near the top of the screen.
You’ll be able to change which sections of the tax return are enabled, and also be able to personalise each tax year independently.
NOTE: actions that you take in the Record Keeping area do not automatically change which sections are selected. You must do this manually. For example, if you capture bank interest in Record Keeping, you should select the ‘Other Income’ tile to include this in your tax calculation and tax return.
